सेयमापन्महाघोरा कुरुष्वेव समुत्थिता । उपेक्ष्यमाणा कौरव्य पृथिवीं घातयिष्यति
seyam āpanna-mahāghorā kuruṣv eva samutthitā | upekṣyamāṇā kauravya pṛthivīṃ ghātayiṣyati, kuruśreṣṭha |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—हे कौरव्य, कुरुश्रेष्ठ! ही अत्यंत भयंकर आपत्ती कुरूंमध्येच उद्भवली आहे. तिची उपेक्षा केली तर ती संपूर्ण पृथ्वीचा विनाश करील.
