कृष्णेन विदुरं प्रति आगमन-हेतु-निवेदनम् / Krishna explains the purpose of his coming to Vidura
धर्मशास्त्रातिगो मूढो दुरात्मा प्रग्रह॑ गत: । अनेय: श्रेयसां मन्दो धार्तराष्ट्रो जनार्दन
dharmaśāstrātigo mūḍho durātmā pragrahaṃ gataḥ | aneyaḥ śreyasāṃ mando dhārtarāṣṭro janārdana |
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— हे जनार्दना! धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन मूढ व दुरात्मा आहे. तो धर्मशास्त्रांच्या मर्यादा ओलांडून स्वहठाच्या पकडीत गेला आहे. जे खरे श्रेयस्कर आहे ते स्वीकारण्यात तो मंद आहे; त्याला कल्याणमार्गावर आणणे शक्य नाही.
