Udyoga Parva, Chapter 81: Krishna Sets Out as Envoy
पज्च नस्तात दीयमन्तां ग्रामा इति महाद्युते । अविस्थलं वृकस्थलं माकन्दीं वारणावतम्
pañca nas tāta dīyamantāṁ grāmā iti mahādyute | avisthalaṁ vṛkasthalaṁ mākandīṁ vāraṇāvatam ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— हे महाद्युते! ‘तात, आम्हांला पाच गावे द्यावीत’—अशी विनंती होती. ती गावे—अविस्थल, वृकस्थल, माकंदी आणि वारणावत।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
