अर्जुनोक्तिः—कृष्णं प्रति पुरुषकार‑कर्म‑विचारः

नातिप्रहीणरश्मि: स्यात्‌ तथा भावविपर्यये । विषादमच्छेंद्‌ ग्लानिं वाप्येतमर्थ ब्रवीमि ते

nātiprahīṇaraśmiḥ syāt tathā bhāvaviparyaye | viṣādam acched glāniṃ vāpy etam arthaṃ bravīmi te ||

परिस्थिती प्रतिकूल झाली तरी तुझा तेज अतिशय क्षीण होऊ देऊ नकोस. विषाद आणि ग्लानी—दोन्ही छेदून टाक; हाच अर्थ मी तुला सांगतो.
