भीमसेनस्य आत्मबलप्रशंसा — Bhīmasena’s Assertion of Strength

यथा पुरस्तात् सविता दृश्यते शुक्रमुच्चरन् । यथा च पश्चान्निर्मुक्तो ध्रुवं पर्येति रश्मिवान्
yathā purastāt savitā dṛśyate śukram uccaran | yathā ca paścān nirmukto dhruvaṃ paryeti raśmivān ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—जसा सूर्य पूर्वेला उदय पावून तेजस्वी प्रकाश प्रकट करीत दिसतो, आणि पुढे जाऊन तोच रश्मिमान सूर्य अढळ नियमाने पश्चिमेकडे निश्चितपणे गमन करतो—तसाच हा विषयही अव्यभिचारी, नियत व अचूक क्रमाने पुढे सरकतो.
