Message to the Kuru Assembly
तिष्ठ तात सतां वाक्ये सुहृदामर्थवादिनाम् । वृद्ध शान्तनवं भीष्म तितिक्षस्व पितामहम्
tiṣṭha tāta satāṁ vākye suhṛdām arthavādinām | vṛddha śāntanavaṁ bhīṣmaṁ titikṣasva pitāmaham ||
तात, सत्पुरुषांच्या वचनावर आणि हित सांगणाऱ्या सुहृदांच्या सल्ल्यावर ठाम राहा. वृद्ध शान्तनुनंदन भीष्म हे तुझे पितामह आहेत; त्यांच्या उपदेशाला धैर्याने सहन कर.
