सम्पन्न गोषु सम्भाव्यं सम्भाव॒य॑ ब्राह्मणे तप: । सम्भाव्यं॑ चापल स्त्रीषु सम्भाव्यं ज्ञातितो भसम्
sampanna goṣu sambhāvyaṃ sambhāvaya brāhmaṇe tapaḥ | sambhāvyaṃ cāpalaṃ strīṣu sambhāvyaṃ jñātito bhayam ||
विदुर म्हणाले—जशी सधन गायींत दूध, ब्राह्मणात तप आणि तरुण स्त्रियांत चंचलता स्वाभाविक मानली जाते, तशीच आपल्याच ज्ञातिबांधवांकडूनही भय व संकट उद्भवणे शक्य आहे. म्हणून ज्ञानी लोक सावध राहतात; केवळ नात्यामुळे दक्षता सोडत नाहीत.
