ते समेत्य यथान्यायं धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबला: । कुरुक्षेत्रस्य पश्चार्थे व्यवातिष्ठन्त दंशिता:,धृतराष्ट्रके वे महाबली पुत्र रणक्षेत्रमें जाकर कवच आदिसे सुसज्जित हो कुरक्षेत्रके पश्चिम भागमें यथोचितरूपसे खड़े हुए
te sametya yathānyāyaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrā mahābalāḥ | kurukṣetrasya paścārthe vyavātiṣṭhanta daṃśitāḥ ||
यथान्याय एकत्र येऊन महाबली धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र, कवच-शस्त्रांनी सज्ज होऊन, कुरुक्षेत्राच्या पश्चिम भागात रचना करून उभे राहिले।
