भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat
नदी भविष्यसि शुभे कुटिला वार्षिकोदका । दुस्तीर्था न तु विज्ञेया वार्षिकी नाष्टमासिकी
nadī bhaviṣyasi śubhe kuṭilā vārṣikodakā | dustīrthā na tu vijñeyā vārṣikī nāṣṭamāsikī ||
राम म्हणाला— “हे शुभे! तू नदी होशील—वळणावळणाची, केवळ पावसाच्या पाण्याने भरलेली. तुझा घाट दुर्मिळ असेल; तू विश्वसनीय, सदाप्रवाहिनी नदी म्हणून ओळखली जाणार नाहीस—तू फक्त पावसाळी, आठ महिने वाहणारी नाहीस.”
