यथाबलं यथोत्साहं रथिन: समुपादिशत् | अर्जुन सूतपुत्राय भीम॑ दुर्योधनाय च
sañjaya uvāca |
yathābalaṁ yathotsāhaṁ rathinaḥ samupādiśat |
arjunaṁ sūtaputrāya bhīmaṁ duryodhanāya ca ||
प्रत्येक रथीचे बळ व उत्साह पाहून त्याने त्यांना योग्य प्रतिस्पर्ध्यांशी भिडण्याची आज्ञा दिली. अर्जुनाला सूतपुत्र कर्णासमोर आणि भीमसेनाला दुर्योधनासमोर नेमले.
