Pāṇḍava-senā-niryāṇa and Vyūha-vibhāga (पाण्डवसेनानिर्याण तथा व्यूहविभाग)

अतिलोहिलतनेत्राभ्यामाशीविष इव श्वसन्‌ | स्मयमान इव क्रोधात्‌ सक्किणी परिसंलिहन्‌

atilohitalatanetrābhyām āśīviṣa iva śvasan | smayamāna iva krodhāt sakkiṇī pari-saṁlihan, bharataśreṣṭha janamejaya |

संजय म्हणाला—हे भरतश्रेष्ठ जनमेजया! क्रोधाने त्यांचे डोळे अतिशय लाल झाले; ते विषारी सर्पाप्रमाणे फुत्कारत श्वास घेऊ लागले. अंतःकरणात क्रोध धगधगत असतानाही ते जणू हसत आहेत असे भासले; ओठांचे कोपरे चाटत ते उत्तर देण्यास सिद्ध झाले।
