Kaurava Mobilization at Kurukṣetra (Duryodhana Orders War Preparations) / कुरुक्षेत्रे धार्तराष्ट्र-सैन्यसज्जा
कृतो यत्नो महांस्तत्र शम: स्यथादिति भारत । धर्मस्य गतमानृण्यं न सम वाच्या विवक्षताम्
kṛto yatno mahāṁs tatra śamaḥ syathāditi bhārata | dharmasya gatam ānṛṇyaṁ na sama-vācyā vivakṣatām ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—हे भारत! तेथे शांतता व्हावी या हेतूने मोठा प्रयत्न करण्यात आला. त्यामुळे आम्ही धर्माच्या उरलेल्या ऋणातूनही उऋण झालो आहोत; म्हणून जे दुसऱ्यांचे दोष बोलण्यास उत्सुक असतात, तेही आता आमच्यावर तसाच दोष लावू शकत नाहीत.
