Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
स राजा तस्य ते पुत्रा: पितुर्दायाद्यहारिण: । मा तात कल हं कार्षी राज्यस्यार्ध प्रदीयताम्
sa rājā tasya te putrāḥ pitur dāyādyahāriṇaḥ | mā tāta kalahāṁ kārṣī rājyasyārdhaṁ pradīyatām ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—तो राजा पांडू तुझ्या पित्याचा न्याय्य वारस होता आणि त्याचे पुत्र पांडव पित्याच्या संपत्तीचे खरे उत्तराधिकारी आहेत. म्हणून, वत्स दुर्योधन! कलह करू नकोस; राज्याचा अर्धा भाग त्यांना देण्यात यावा.
