Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
द्रोण उदाच अश्वत्थाम्नि यथा पुत्रे भूयो मम धनंजये । बहुमान: परो राजन् संनतिश्व कपिध्वजे
Droṇa uvāca—Aśvatthāmni yathā putre bhūyo mama Dhanañjaye; bahumānaḥ paro rājan, sannatiś ca Kapidhvaje.
द्रोण म्हणाले—राजन्! माझा पुत्र अश्वत्थामा याच्याविषयी जसा स्नेह आहे, त्याहून अधिक धनंजय अर्जुनाविषयी आहे. कपिध्वज अर्जुन माझ्याप्रती अत्यंत नम्र व आदरयुक्त आहे.
