खरीवात्सल्यमाहुस्तन्नि:सामर्थ्यमहेतुकम् । सद्धिविगर्हितं मार्ग त्यज मूर्खनिषेवितम्
kharīvātsalyam āhus tan niḥsāmarthyam ahetukam | sad dhi vigarhitaṃ mārgaṃ tyaja mūrkha-niṣevitam ||
याला ‘गाढवीचे वात्सल्य’ म्हणतात—असमर्थतेतून जन्मलेली निरर्थक, अकारण कमजोरी. म्हणून सज्जनांनी निंदिलेला आणि मूर्खांनी चाललेला तो मार्ग सोड.
