तस्य चैतत्प्रदानस्य फलमद्यानुपश्यसि । यद्‌ भुड्क्षे पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां श्रै्निहतकण्टकाम्‌,“उसीके देनेका आज तुम यह प्रत्यक्ष फल देखते हो कि उन शूरवीर पाण्डवोंद्वारा निष्कण्टक बनायी हुई इस सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वीका राज्य भोग रहे हो

tasya caitat-pradānasya phalam adyānupaśyasi | yad bhuṅkṣe pṛthivīṁ kṛtsnāṁ śatrūṇāṁ nihata-kaṇṭakām ||

त्या दानाचे फळ आज तू प्रत्यक्ष पाहतोस—वीर पांडवांनी शत्रुरूपी काटे छाटून निष्कंटक केलेल्या या संपूर्ण पृथ्वीचे राज्य तू भोगत आहेस.
