Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
विषेण सर्पबन्धैशक्ष॒ यतिता: पाण्डवास्त्वया । सर्वोपायैर्विनाशाय न समृद्ध च तत् तव
vaiśampāyana uvāca | viṣeṇa sarpabandhaiś ca yatitāḥ pāṇḍavās tvayā | sarvopāyair vināśāya na samṛddhaṃ ca tat tava ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— विष देऊन, सर्प-प्रयोगांनी दंश करवून, बांधून पाण्यात टाकून—सर्व उपायांनी तू पांडवांचा नाश करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला; तरीही तुझा तो उद्योग सफल झाला नाही.
