सह मात्रा प्रदग्धुं तान् बालकान् वारणावते । आस्थित: परमं यत्नं न समृद्धं च तत् तव
saha mātrā pradagdhuṃ tān bālakān vāraṇāvate | āsthitaḥ paramaṃ yatnaṃ na samṛddhaṃ ca tat tava ||
वारणावत येथे तू त्या बालक पांडवांना त्यांच्या मातेसह जाळून टाकण्याचा परम प्रयत्न केला होतास; पण तुझा तो डाव सफल झाला नाही.
