असहां सर्वभूतानां ममापि विपुलं बलम् | मयापि सुमहत् कर्म कृतं दैतेयविग्रहे,मुझमें भी वह विशाल बल है, जिसे समस्त प्राणी एक साथ मिलकर भी सह नहीं सकते। मैंने भी दैत्योंके साथ युद्ध छिड़नेपर महान् पराक्रम प्रकट किया है
asahāṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ mamāpi vipulaṁ balam | mayāpi sumahat karma kṛtaṁ daiteya-vigrahe ||
गरुड म्हणाला— माझ्यातही असे अपार बळ आहे की सर्व प्राणी एकत्र आले तरी ते सहन करू शकत नाहीत. आणि दैत्यांशी युद्ध उभे राहिल्यावर मीही एक महान कार्य केले आहे, मोठा पराक्रम दाखविला आहे।
