भविष्यति जयो देवा: शक्रस्थ मम तेजसा । अदृश्यश्ष प्रवेक्ष्यामि वज्ञे हास्यायुधोत्तमे,देवताओ! मेरे तेजसे इन्द्रकी विजय होगी। मैं इनके उत्तम आयुध वज्रमें अदृश्यभावसे प्रवेश करूँगा
bhaviṣyati jayo devāḥ śakrastha mama tejasā | adṛśyaḥ praviśyāmi vajre hāsyāyudhottame ||
शल्य म्हणाला—हे देवहो! माझ्या तेजाच्या प्रभावाने शक्र (इंद्र) याचा विजय निश्चित होईल. मी अदृश्य होऊन त्याच्या परम आयुध वज्रामध्ये प्रवेश करीन, जेणेकरून ते विजयी ठरेल.
