पुत्रगृद्धया त्वया राजन्‌ प्रियं तस्य चिकीर्षितम्‌ । पश्चात्तापमिमं प्राप्तो न त्वं शोचितुमरहसि

Translation

राजन्, पुत्रासक्तीमुळे आपण नेहमी त्याला जे प्रिय तेच करावयास इच्छिलात. म्हणूनच आज हा पश्चात्ताप आपल्याला प्राप्त झाला आहे; त्यामुळे आता आपण शोक करणे योग्य नाही.
