Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
चापवेगायतस्ती क्षण: परकायावभेदन: । ऋणजु: सुनिशित: पीत: सायकश्न स्रुवो महान्
cāpavegāyatas tīkṣṇaḥ parakāyāvabhedanaḥ | ṛjuḥ suniśitaḥ pītaḥ sāyakaḥ śruvo mahān ||
अंबरीष म्हणाला—यजमानाच्या हातात असलेला महान् शृव (हविष्याचा डाव) खरोखर बाणासारखाच आहे—धनुष्याच्या वेगाने ओढलेला, सरळ, अतिशय तीक्ष्ण, धारदार आणि हवि ‘पिलेला’; तो शत्रूचे शरीर विदीर्ण करण्यास समर्थ आहे.
