Chapter 72 — Royal Duty: protection of subjects, taxation, punishment, and appointments

आर्जवेन च सम्पन्नो धृत्या बुद्धया च भारत । यथार्थ प्रतिगृह्लीयात्‌ कामक्रोधौ च वर्जयेत्‌

Transliteration

ārjavena ca sampanno dhṛtyā buddhyā ca bhārata | yathārthaṃ pratigṛhṇīyāt kāmakrodhau ca varjayet, bharatanandana ||

Translation

हे भारत! राजा आर्जवाने संपन्न असावा; धैर्य व सुबुद्धीच्या आधाराने केवळ सत्य-यथार्थच स्वीकारावे आणि काम व क्रोध यांचा त्याग करावा, हे भरतनंदना।
