Cāturāśramya-dharma—Marks of the Four Āśramas (चातुराश्रम्यधर्मः)
प्रजापतिर्हिं भगवान् सर्व चैवासृजज्जगत् । स प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्त्यर्थ धर्माणां क्षत्रमिच्छति
prajāpatir hi bhagavān sarvaṃ caivāsṛjaj jagat | sa pravṛtti-nivṛtty-arthaṃ dharmāṇāṃ kṣatram icchati |
भगवान प्रजापतींनीच हे सर्व जग निर्माण केले; आणि लोकांना सत्कर्मात प्रवृत्त व दुष्कर्मापासून निवृत्त करण्यासाठी, धर्मरक्षणार्थ त्यांनी क्षात्रशक्तीची स्थापना इच्छिली.
