Āśrama-dharma: Duties of the Four Life-Stages (आश्रमधर्मः)
राज्ञा वा समनुज्ञात: काम॑ कुर्वीत धार्मिक: । तस्य वृत्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि यच्च तस्योपजीवनम्
rājñā vā samanujñātaḥ kāmaṁ kurvīta dhārmikaḥ | tasya vṛttiṁ pravakṣyāmi yac ca tasyopajīvanam ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—किंवा राजाची योग्य अनुमती मिळाल्यास धर्मात्मा पुरुष आपल्या इच्छेनुसार कार्य करू शकतो. आता मी त्याची योग्य वृत्ती व उपजीविकेचा मार्ग सांगतो, ज्यायोगे तो धर्मानुसार जीवननिर्वाह करू शकेल.
