शोकाकुल-युधिष्ठिरं प्रति कुन्त्याः कालोचितोपदेशः | Kuntī’s Timely Counsel to the Grief-Stricken Yudhiṣṭhira

भवत्या गूढमन्त्रत्वात्‌ पीडितो<स्मीत्युवाच ताम्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca — bhavatyā gūḍha-mantratvāt pīḍito ’smīty uvāca tām |

वैशंपायन म्हणाले—“तू हे गुप्त रहस्य करून ठेवलेस, म्हणून मी पीडित झालो आहे,” असे तो मातेपाशी म्हणाला. हे ऐकून धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरांचे डोळे अश्रूंनी भरले; शोकाने त्यांच्या इंद्रिया व्याकुळ झाल्या आणि तो पुन्हा म्हणाला—“आई, हे गोपनीय सत्य लपवून तू मला मोठे दुःख दिलेस.”
