ऋषिणोद्दालकेनापि श्वेतकेतुर्महातपा: । मिथ्या विप्रानुपचरन् संत्यक्तो दयित: सुत:
ṛṣiṇoddālakena api śvetaketur mahātapāḥ | mithyā viprān upacaran saṃtyakto dayitaḥ sutaḥ ||
ऋषी उद्दालकांनीही आपल्या प्रिय, महातपस्वी पुत्र श्वेतकेतूला केवळ या दोषामुळे त्यागले की तो ब्राह्मणांशी खोटे व कपटी वर्तन करीत असे.
