प्रेष्प्माणा विकल्पन्ते गुह्मां चाप्पनुयुञ्जते । अयाच्य॑ चैव याचन्ते भोज्यान्याहारयन्ति च
preṣyamāṇā vikalpante guhyaṃ cāpy anuyuñjate | ayācyaṃ caiva yācante bhojyāny āhārayanti ca ||
कामासाठी पाठविले असता ते निरर्थक शंका उभी करून कार्यसिद्धी डळमळीत करतात. ते गुप्त गोष्टींत ढवळाढवळ करतात व राजाच्या लपलेल्या त्रुटी उघड करतात. जे मागणे अयोग्य तेही मागतात आणि राजासाठी ठेवलेले अन्नही स्वतः खातात.
