tathā jaimininā caiva pailena ca mahātmanā | śāṇḍilya-devalābhyāṁ ca maitreyeṇa ca dhīmatā ||

तसेच जैमिनीने, महात्मा पैलाने, शाण्डिल्य व देवल यांनी, आणि बुद्धिमान मैत्रेयानेही (हे कथन/परंपरा) सांगितली.
