ततो दुर्योधनगृहं प्रासादैरुपशोभितम् । बहुरत्नसमाकीर्ण दासीदाससमाकुलम्,तदनन्तर धुृतराष्ट्रकी आज्ञासे भाई युधिष्ठिरने दुर्योधनका महल भीमसेनको अर्पित किया। वह बहुत-सी अट्टालिकाओंसे सुशोभित था। वहाँ अनेक प्रकारके रत्नोंका भण्डार पड़ा था और बहुत-सी दास-दासियाँ सेवाके लिये प्रस्तुत थीं। जैसे इन्द्र अपने भवनमें प्रवेश करते हैं, उसी प्रकार महाबाहु भीमसेन उस महलमें चले गये
tato duryodhana-gṛhaṃ prāsādair upaśobhitam | bahu-ratna-samākīrṇaṃ dāsī-dāsa-samākulam ||
त्यानंतर ते दुर्योधनाच्या निवासस्थानी आले—उंच प्रासादांनी शोभलेले. तेथे अनेक प्रकारची रत्ने साठवलेली होती आणि दास-दासींनी ते गजबजलेले होते.
