यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
नाग म्हणाला— हे ब्राह्मण! सूर्याच्या अद्भुत तेजात महाबाहु, शाश्वत, अनादि-अन्त पुरुषोत्तम स्वतः वास करतो—याहून मोठे आश्चर्य काय? त्याच्यापासून नानाविध बीजांची उत्पत्ती होते आणि त्याच्याच आधाराने ही संपूर्ण पृथ्वी, चराचरांसह, धारण झाली आहे. जेव्हा सूर्य-मण्डलात स्वयं नारायण विराजमान आहे, तेव्हा त्याहून मोठे आश्चर्य कोणते?
