जगतत्रिन्तयन् सृष्टिं चित्रां बहुगुणोद्धवाम् । तस्य चिन्तयत: सृष्टि महानात्मगुण: स्मृत:
jagat-triṇintayan sṛṣṭiṃ citrāṃ bahu-guṇodbhavām | tasya cintayataḥ sṛṣṭiḥ mahān-ātma-guṇaḥ smṛtaḥ ||
नाना गुणांतून उद्भवलेली, विचित्र अशी जगत्सृष्टी ते चिंतन करू लागले. सृष्टीचा विचार करत असता त्यांना ‘महत्’—महान तत्त्व—याचे स्मरण झाले.
