नागैः सह ब्राह्मणस्य अतिथिधर्म-व्रतसंवादः | The Brahmin’s Vow and the Nāgas’ Hospitality Appeal

सर्वलोकतमोहन्ता आदित्यो द्वारमुच्यते । द्विजश्रेष्ठ! संसारमें जो लोग पुण्य और पापसे रहित एवं निर्मल हैं, वे कल्याणमय मार्गसे भगवद्धामको प्राप्त होते हैं, उस समय सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके अन्धकारका नाश करनेवाले भगवान्‌ सूर्य ही उनके उस मोक्षधामका द्वार बताये जाते हैं ।।

sarvalokatamohantā ādityo dvāram ucyate | dvijaśreṣṭha! saṃsāre ye janāḥ puṇyapāparahitā nirmalāś ca, te kalyāṇamārgeṇa bhagavaddhāma prāpnuvanti; tadā samastalokāndhakāranāśakaḥ bhagavān sūrya eva teṣāṃ mokṣadhāmasya dvāram iti kathyate |

नारद म्हणाले—सर्व लोकांचा अंधकार नष्ट करणारा आदित्य (सूर्य) ‘द्वार’ म्हणून सांगितला जातो. हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! जे लोक या संसारात निर्मळ असून पुण्य-पापरहित आहेत, ते क्षेम—कल्याणमय—मार्गाने भगवद्धामास पोहोचतात; त्या वेळी सर्वलोकतमोहन्ता सूर्यदेवच त्या मोक्षधामाचे द्वार मानले जातात.
