Educational Q&A

When cosmic order is overturned and even the king of gods falters, restoration of dharma may come through a divinely guided, seemingly small and humble form (Vāmana). Power is not merely martial; rightful order can be re-established through dharmic strategy and divine purpose.

Bhishma speaks of a future crisis in which an adversary seizes the three worlds and Indra retreats from battle. In response, a divine manifestation will occur: the speaker identifies the coming birth as Vāmana, born from Kaśyapa and Aditi as the twelfth Āditya, to restore balance.
