धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

ततो भूयो जगत्‌ सर्व करिष्यामीह विद्यया । अस्मिन्‌ मूर्तिश्चतुर्थी या सासृजच्छेषमव्ययम्‌

tato bhūyo jagat sarva kariṣyāmīha vidyayā | asmin mūrtiś caturthī yā sā sṛjac cheṣam avyayam |

त्यानंतर सृष्टीचा काळ आला की, त्याच विद्याशक्तीने मी येथे संपूर्ण जगताची पुन्हा रचना करीन. माझ्या चार मूर्तींपैकी जी चौथी—वासुदेवमूर्ती—तिनेच अविनाशी शेषाला उत्पन्न केले.
