Aśvaśiras / Hayaśiras Narrative: Retrieval of the Vedas
nāradaḥ sumahaddhūtaṃ sarvalokān acīcarat | taṃ deśam agamad rājan badaryāśramam āśugaḥ ||
The verse highlights the authority and urgency of dharmic instruction: a sage-messenger like Nārada traverses all realms and hastens to a sacred hermitage, implying that true guidance is sought from sanctified sources and delivered with purposeful speed.
Bhīṣma narrates that Nārada, acting as a great envoy, travels through the worlds and then quickly proceeds to Badaryāśrama, setting the scene for receiving or conveying important spiritual counsel connected with that holy place.
