Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse
विपन्ना धारणास्तात नयन्ति न शुभां गतिम् । नेतृहीना यथा नाव: पुरुषानर्णवे नूप
vipannā dhāraṇās tāta nayanti na śubhāṃ gatim | netṛhīnā yathā nāvaḥ puruṣān arṇave nṛpa ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—हे तात, नरेश्वर! अपयशी किंवा अपूर्ण धारणांनी शुभगती मिळत नाही. जशी नावाड्याविना नाव समुद्रात माणसांना पार लावू शकत नाही, तशी सिद्ध न झालेली धारणाही कल्याणमार्ग देऊ शकत नाही।
