अव्यक्त–प्रकृति–इन्द्रियविचारः
The Unmanifest, Prakṛtis, and the Sense-Complex
यथा भावावसन्ना हि नौर्महाम्भसि तन््तुना । तथा मनोभियोगाद् वै शरीरं प्रचिकीर्षति
yathā bhāvāvasannā hi naur mahāmbhasi tantunā | tathā manobhiyogād vai śarīraṃ pracikīrṣati ||
जशी खोल पाण्यात असलेली नौका नाविकाच्या दोरीने ओढली जाऊन त्याच्या मनोभावाप्रमाणे चालते, तसा देहधारी जीव मनाच्या अभिप्रायानुसार या शरीर-नौकेला चालवू इच्छितो.
