आनृशंस्यमहिंसा चाप्रमाद: संविभागिता । श्राद्धकर्मातिथेयं च सत्यमक्रोध एव च
ānṛśaṁsyam ahiṁsā cāpramādaḥ saṁvibhāgitā | śrāddha-karmātitheyaṁ ca satyam akrodha eva ca ||
पराशर म्हणाले—दया व अहिंसा, अप्रमाद (सावधानता) आणि वाटून देण्याची वृत्ती; श्राद्धकर्म व अतिथिसत्कार; सत्य आणि अक्रोध—हे गुण धारण करावयाचे आहेत.
पराशर उवाच
