इत्येष वृत्रमाश्रित्य ज्वरस्य महतो मया । विस्तर: कथित: पुत्र किमन्यत् प्रब्रवीमि ते
ity eṣa vṛtram āśritya jvarasya mahato mayā | vistaraḥ kathitaḥ putra kim anyat prabravīmi te ||
पुत्रा! अशा रीतीने वृत्राच्या प्रसंगाला आधार करून मी महान (माहेश्वर) ज्वराची उत्पत्तीची कथा तुला विस्ताराने सांगितली. आता तुला आणखी काय सांगू?
