भीष्म उवाच एवमुकत्वा तु सा देवी तदा पशुपतिं पतिम् । तृष्णी भूताभवद् राजन् दहाुमानेन चेतसा
bhīṣma uvāca evam uktvā tu sā devī tadā paśupatiṁ patim | tṛṣṇī-bhūtābhavad rājan dahyamānena cetasā ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—राजन्! पती भगवान् पशुपतीला असे सांगून ती देवी (पार्वती) मौन झाली; पण शोकाने तिचे चित्त आतून आतून जळत होते.
