शुद्धां गतिं तां परमां परैति शुद्धेन नित्यं मनसा विचिन्वन्‌ । ततोडव्ययं स्थानमुपैति ब्रह्म दुष्प्रापमभ्येति स शाश्वतं वै

Transliteration

śuddhāṃ gatiṃ tāṃ paramāṃ paraiti śuddhena nityaṃ manasā vicinvan | tato 'vyayaṃ sthānam upaiti brahma duṣprāpam abhyeti sa śāśvataṃ vai ||

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाले— जो साधक सदैव शुद्ध मनाने त्या निर्मळ परमगतीचे निरंतर चिंतन-अनुसंधान करतो, तो ती निश्चयाने प्राप्त करतो. त्यानंतर तो अविकारी, दुर्लभ व सनातन ब्रह्मपद प्राप्त करून त्यातच दृढपणे प्रतिष्ठित होतो.
