आगमो वेददवादास्तु तर्कशास्त्राणि चागम:,वेदमतका अनुसरण करनेवाले शास्त्र तो आगम हैं ही, तर्कशास्त्र (वेदोंके अर्थका निर्णय करनेवाले पूर्वोत्तर मीमांसा आदि) भी आगम हैं
āgamo vedavādās tu tarkaśāstrāṇi cāgamaḥ
वेदमताचे अनुसरण करणारे शास्त्र तर आगम आहेतच; आणि तर्कशास्त्रे—जी वेदाचा अर्थ ठरवून स्पष्ट करतात—तीही आगमच मानली जातात.
