मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः
Determination of the Means to Liberation
न मूलघात: कर्तव्यो नैष धर्म: सनातन: । अपि स्वल्पवधेनैव प्रायश्षित्तं विधीयते
dyumatsena uvāca |
na mūlaghātaḥ kartavyo naiṣa dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ |
api svalpavadhenaiva prāyaścittaṃ vidhīyate ||
द्यूमत्सेन म्हणाला—मुळावर घाव घालून संपूर्ण उच्छेद करू नये; हा सनातन धर्म नाही. अपराधाच्या प्रमाणात हलक्या दंडानेच प्रायश्चित्त होते; त्यानेच पापक्षय साधतो.
