Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
धर्मलब्धर्युतो दारैरग्नीनुत्पाद्य यत्नत: । द्वितीयमायुषो भागं गृहमेधी भवेद् व्रती
dharmalabdhairyuto dārair agnīn utpādya yatnataḥ | dvitīyam āyuṣo bhāgaṁ gṛhamedhī bhaved vratī ||
धर्माने पत्नी प्राप्त करून तिच्यासह यत्नपूर्वक गृह्याग्नींची स्थापना करावी. मग उत्तम व्रतांचे पालन करीत आयुष्याचा दुसरा भाग—सुमारे पन्नास वर्षांपर्यंत—धर्मानुसार गृहस्थ म्हणून राहावे.
