Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
सधर्मव्रतसंयोगं यथाधर्म युगे युगे । विक्रियन्ते स्वधर्मस्था वेदवादा यथागमम्,सत्ययुगमें मनुष्य स्वभावके अनुसार यज्ञ, व्रत और तीर्थाटन आदि करते हैं और त्रेता आदि युगमें वेदवादी एवं स्वधर्मनिष्ठ पुरुष शास्त्रके कथनानुसार धर्मके ह्वाससे विकारको प्राप्त होते हैं
sadharmavratasaṃyogaṃ yathā dharma yuge yuge | vikriyante svadharmasthā vedavādā yathāgamam ||
व्यास म्हणाले—प्रत्येक युगात धर्म व व्रताचार यांचा संयोग त्या युगाच्या धर्माप्रमाणेच घडतो. पण युगानुयुगे धर्म क्षीण होत गेल्यावर वेदवचन सांगणारे व स्वधर्मनिष्ठ पुरुषही शास्त्रविधीनुसार बदलत्या काळाशी अनुरूप असा विकार प्राप्त करतात.
