आत्मदर्शन-उपदेशः (Ātma-darśana Upadeśa) — Mind, Senses, and the All-pervading Self

वेदवादाश्वानुयुगं हसन्तीतीह न: श्रुतम् । आयूंषि चाशिषश्चैव वेदस्यैव च यत्फलम्
Transliteration
vyāsa uvāca | vedavādāśvānuyugaṃ hasantītiha naḥ śrutam | āyūṃṣi cāśiṣaś caiva vedasyaiva ca yat phalam |
Translation
आम्ही असे ऐकले आहे की युगानुयुगांच्या प्रवाहात वेदवाणी उपहासाचा विषय ठरते. मनुष्यांची आयु कमी होते; आशीर्वाद व अभिलषित सिद्धींत अडथळे येतात; आणि वेदाध्ययन व अनुष्ठानाचे फळही क्षीण होते.
