जापकार्थमयं यत्नो यदर्थ वयमागता: । कृतपूजाविमौ तुल्यौ त्वया तुल्यफलाविमौ,“इस जापक ब्राह्मणको सदगति देनेके लिये ही आपने ऐसा उद्योग किया था। इसीको देखनेके लिये हमलोग भी आये थे। आपने इन दोनोंका समानरूपसे आदर किया और ये दोनों ही एक-सी स्थितिमें पहुँचकर आपके समान फलके भागी हुए हैं
jāpākārtham ayaṁ yatno yadartha vayaṁ āgatāḥ | kṛtapūjāv imau tulyau tvayā tulyaphalāv imau ||
“या जपक ब्राह्मणाला सद्गती मिळावी म्हणूनच आपण हा प्रयत्न केला; आणि तेच पाहण्यासाठी आम्हीही आलो होतो. आपण या दोघांचेही समान रीतीने पूजन केले; म्हणून हे दोघेही एकाच अवस्थेला पोहोचून आपल्या समान फलाचे भागी झाले आहेत.”
