निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
चन्दनागुरुमुख्यानि त्वक्पत्राणां वनानि च । तस्मिन् पथि महाराज सेवमानो द्रुतं ययौ
candana-aguru-mukhyāni tvak-patrāṇāṁ vanāni ca | tasmin pathi mahārāja sevamāno drutaṁ yayau |
भीष्म म्हणाले—महाराज, त्या मार्गावर तेजपातांच्या वनराई होत्या; त्यांत चंदन व अगुरुची झाडे विशेष प्रधान होती. तो चालता-चालता तेथे विश्रांती घेत, इच्छेप्रमाणे अमृतासारखी मधुर फळे खात, मोठ्या वेगाने पुढे निघून गेला।
