On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
दानवेन्द्रास्त्वतिक्रम्य तत् पितामहशासनम् । धर्मस्यापचयं चक्कुः: क्रोधलो भसमन्विता:,परंतु दानवेश्वरोंने क्रोध और लोभसे युक्त हो ब्रह्माजीकी उस आज्ञाका उल्लंघन करके धर्मको हानि पहुँचाना आरम्भ किया
dānavendrās tv atikramya tat pitāmahaśāsanam | dharmasyāpacayaṃ cakruḥ krodhalobhasamanvitāḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—परंतु दानवांचे अधिपती क्रोध व लोभाने युक्त होऊन पितामह ब्रह्मदेवांची आज्ञा ओलांडून धर्माचा अपचय घडवू लागले.
